Lex Reccomendation

Lex is an amazing person to work with. I have worked with Lex for the past year, but known him for two. He is very open to learning new things related to game design and is a fast learner regardless. He can make any workload feel like half the effort when on the job. I highly recommend Lex for any jobs you may have opening soon.

    Primary Source

Celeste is an indie platformer game about climbing a mountain of the same name. Its platforming is crisp with a high skill ceiling, but even if you aren’t the best at platformers you can still enjoy this game. The different areas are all distinct and colorful in their own ways, each one fitting both gameplay and story purposes. Speaking of the story, it sets the motivation for the game up beautifully but the main story is no slacker either, being impactful and very well-paced for the entire game.

    Secondary Source

    1. the movement is very fast and responsive.
    2. All of the movement is hard coded.
    3. The basic moves are well balanced and can combine to do more things with them.

    Training Source(s)

    1. 0:46: use acceleration
    2. 0:57 make snappy movement
